Amsterdam Canal

Say Hallo and Guten Tag to an unforgettable  Living History  lesson when Museum Without Walls journeys to Holland and Germany for a comprehensive exploration of the Holocaust.

The ten-day program, which starts July 22,  takes U.S. high school students beyond the familiar tale of Anne Frank in Amsterdam and includes such historical figures as Corrie ten Boom, the Dutch Christian Holocaust survivor who sheltered Jewish refugees.

Students will stand on the spot in Haarlem where the ten Boom family hid Jews from the Nazis and also visit the Ravensbrück concentration camp in Northern Germany where Corrie and her sister were held.  The program will also include eyewitness accounts via audiences with individuals who share their stories of life during the Holocaust. Please follow along as the program’s participants share stories of their experiences.
